Foot spas to soothe

… both your soul and your soles.

I’ve developed a range of foot spas that you can receive in isolation or as an adjunct to a massage treatment. The first is just pure indulgence.

Using enough Aura-Soma products to re-sink the Titanic and a special oil sourced from the south of France, this treatment starts with an aromatic foot bath and concludes with a heavenly foot massage. Allow anything from 15 – 30 minutes for this treat.

You … will … LOVE … this.

‘Love brings up everything unlike itself for the purpose of healing’ – from the book Loveability, by British author Robert Holden, renowned for his innovative work in psychology and spirituality.

I post this as a parting muse before I take this blog in another direction.

A muse by any other name…

Behind every muse is a face, a name and a story. And so it is with me, Susan Morrow, author of this blog and pictured below.

I’ve been posting blogs on here for a couple of years now and it only recently occurred to me that I had never actually introduced myself. So here’s just a little bit about me.

I have studied a lot, travelled a fair bit and arrived at answers to some of the big questions about life. That’s a start, but as far into a 30 second elevator speech as I go!

When I found the following paragraph from an astrology website about my star sign, Aquarius, I thought that not only was it fairly accurate, it would save me having to construct anything reasonably similar.

You are unconventional, innovative and revolutionary. You are light years ahead of everyone else and you bring radical ideas and thoughts to the table. You try to disseminate what you know to the world through a variety of subtle or bold ways. You want to uncover what needs to be uncovered. You want to leave something more spiritual behind for the next generation.

Well hallelujah and yeah baby!

But why so?

If you’ve read any of my other posts, you’ll have realised that I’m pretty into the Aura-Soma colour care system. I hope you’ve admired some of the images, even if you haven’t thought much of the accompanying prose.

I’ve always sought the truth. A part of me just always needs to know. It’s common with Aquarians and it is particularly important for me. We all know from study and personal experience. We all know from gut instinct, intuition or a sixth sense. But I knew stuff  before I had the language to articulate it, spiritual truths that made a lot of sense to me. I decided very early in life to make it my quest to understand these truths and to share them with others.

Fast forward to the late 1990s. I think I fell in love with the Aura-Soma bottles the minute I laid eyes on them, but I didn’t know then how important they were to become to me. So much has unravelled for me by integrating these beautiful living energies into my life. This isn’t going to be a ‘tell all’ post – more will evolve in the future. But I will say this…

My love of and belief in the Aura-Soma colour care system is my total motivation for having this blog and for keeping alive the vision of its founder, the late Vicky Wall to whom I promise three things – I will disseminate your vision throughout the world. I will uncover what needs to be uncovered and I will perpetuate your legacy for the next generation.

I know, therefore I am – Susan

A page is there to be turned

And turned it will be in 2017.

I’m so excited to be flexing my creativity muscle and starting a couple of new projects at a place that feels like home to me, the Page of Cups café in Newport, Victoria.

The Page of Cups tarot card signifies the beginning of a creative project or venture. It also represents the surprising and unexpected nature of inspiration that comes to us from the realm of the unconscious and the spirit. It has that ring of – expect the unexpected.

I chose this Page of Cups image for its bold colours and all the messages that jump out at me according to the Aura-Soma colour care system – the turquoise for creativity, the yellow for happiness, the red for get up and go, the magenta for the connection with the divine, the violet for transformation, the blue for peace and the green for truth.

Colour and creativity go together beautifully, a very big reason why I love what I do when I connect with the Aura-Soma jewels. This is what the equilibrium bottles look like when they’re just chilling. Usually they stand upright, in order from 0 – 114.

Putting this colour and creativity together in 2017 will see the birth of a writing class, ridiculously called Meditation Plus as there’s a fair bit of meditation happening as well. The bottles, along with some pomanders and air-cons will be on deck for inspiration and to assist as only they know how. It’s not about creating the next best seller, but more about calming and de-cluttering the mind and then seeing what words flow from pen to paper. Call it experimental if you will, (refer – expect the unexpected).

More tried and tested are the colourful conversations – colourful ‘readings’, short one-on-one sessions which will reveal what your chosen colours reflect for you, (refer – expect the unexpected). Also be prepared to remember parts of yourself that you may have hidden, talents you’ve forgotten about, dreams you’ve let slip.

So in brief, write the right and colour your world.

Moved to Meditate #5 Recap

The fifth and final meditation class may not have been a stairway to Heaven, but it was a trip back in time to recapture some long lost passions. Inspired by red – the sight, sound and fragrance of it – we captured memories of passions long held over the decades of time. We now have in our midst a born again writer, an intrepid wanderer and a budding gardener – pun intended.

Thankyou once again to all participants over the five weeks who supported what can only be described as a colourful experiment. I have learnt so much throughout the experience.

Thankyou also to Sam an Manu who not only opened their Page of Cups lounge room so that I could run this course, but encouraged me profusely to do so.

Incidentally, the Page of Cups is represented by B40 in Aura-Soma and is appropriaqtely named, ‘I am’.

Moved to Meditate #4 Recap

Plenty of transformation took place this week.

In Aura-Soma, applying violet as a fragrance, seeing it in an equilibrium bottle and listening to the sound of it can assist in transmuting negative thoughts and beliefs.

With this in mind, everyone set their intention to release just one aspect of negativity from their lives – a belief, an emotion, a situation.

And so it happened, under the beautiful umbrella of violet.

It was a privilege to witness.

Thankyou to my loyal participants who continue to reinforce my need to do what I do …

My life under the colourful influence of Aura-Soma.
